Bukit ยท Bali Residents Guide

How to Get Your SKTT
on Bukit, Bali

A clear, step-by-step guide through every office, stamp, and document you need to obtain your local residency paper.

What is SKTT? It is a local residency document for foreigners living in Bali. If you live on Bukit, this guide walks you through the full process โ€” offices to visit, documents to bring, and what happens at each stop.

The Process

Six steps. Follow in order. Allow a few days total.

  1. Find your Banjar & locate the Kelian list

First, figure out which banjar (local community) you live in. At the Kelurahan office you will find the list of Kelians (banjar heads).

    Kantor Kelurahan Jimbaran
  2. Visit the Kelian & fill the SKTT form

Go to your Kelian, collect a blank SKTT form and fill it in. You will need a sponsor (usually the homeowner) and 2 witnesses from your banjar.

Bring copies of: your passport, your KITAS, sponsor's KTP, and both witnesses' KTPs.
  3. Return to Kelian for stamp & signature

Once the form is filled and signed by sponsor + witnesses, go back to the Kelian to get the official stamp and signature.

  4. Return to Kelurahan for second stamp

Head back to the Kelurahan Jimbaran office. They add another stamp to your form.

  5. Camat Kuta Selatan โ€” another stamp

Next stop: the sub-district office (Camat). They issue another stamp.

Bring copies of: passport, KITAS, sponsor's KTP.
    Kantor Camat Kuta Selatan
  6. Dinas Dukcapil Badung โ€” get your SKTT

Final stop: the Badung civil registry (Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil). Here you finally receive your SKTT.
